Doncho Planinski from Montana
was born in 1946. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. The most significant creative achievements of Mr. Planinski are in the field of applied arts, spatial design and ceramics. He had worked as a restorer of wall-paintings at the National Institute of Culture Monuments.
He had been teacher of visual art and director of the Puppet Theatre - Montana. He is one of the founders of "Tenets" Asosiation of Visual Artists - Montana, of the plain-air of painted ceramics in Montana and of the plain-air of the wood-plastic in the village of Barsiya, District of Montana.
He finished the High School of Fine Arts - Sofia and he graduated at "Nikolai Pavlovich" National Academy of Arts- Sofia, subject "Wall-painting".
Doncho Planinski had participated in the all of exhibitions of the AVA "Tenets".
He had realised a lot of projects of decorative-monumental arrangement - in "Petersburg" hotel- Plovdiv, in "Dobrudja" hotel- "Albena" holiday resort, "Eter" hotel - Veliko Tarnovo, the big hall of the National Palace of Culture - Sofia, etc.
